INSTRUCTIONS
- Cook the Noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Cook the ground beef - In a large skillet or wok, heat a drizzle of sesame oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
- Add the minced garlic and chopped onion to the beef. Cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant and the onions are softened.
- Prepare the Sauce - In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, beef broth, hoisin sauce, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Combine and Thicken - Pour the sauce over the cooked beef mixture in the skillet. Stir to combine.
- Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, then stir in the cornstarch slurry.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, until the sauce thickens.
- Add the Noodles - Toss the cooked noodles into the skillet with the beef and sauce. Mix well to ensure the noodles are fully coated.
