3 1/2 C old-fashioned oats

1 C almonds (sliced or slivered)

3/4 C sweetened shredded coconut (unsweetened is fine, too)

3/4 tsp salt

1 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp ground ginger

1/2 C brown sugar

1/4 C maple syrup
-
1/4 C vegetable/canola oil
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat the oven to 250. Yes, 250. Not 350.
- Grab your tools - a medium mixing bowl, a 1 cup measuring cup, a 1/2 cup measuring cup, a teaspoon, a spatula or big spoon, and a large baking sheet.
- Measure the oats, almonds, and coconut into the bowl.
- Add the salt/cinnamon/ginger.
- Add brown sugar and mix.
- Finally, add the maple syrup and oil.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Spread evenly on baking sheet.
- Bake for 75 minutes, stirring 2 or 3 times.
